He took a handoff, broke to the right, and navigated the Rams’ defense for a 78-yard touchdown run in the snow. Barkley Breaks Eagles’ Record

Barkley finished the game with an impressive 205 rushing yards, breaking Steve Van Buren’s previous record of 196 yards set in the 1949 NFL Championship game. His performance also ranks as the fifth-highest rushing yards in a playoff game in NFL history.

With his performance on Sunday, Barkley has accumulated 324 rushing yards in the playoffs, placing him 18th on the NFL’s all-time playoff rushing list. He is currently 286 yards behind former Washington Commander John Riggins, who rushed for 610 yards during the 1982 playoffs.
