“Patrick was phenomenal today,” Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said. “He’s the heart and soul of this team.”

“Our defense played lights out,” Sneed said. “We knew we had to step up and make plays, and we did that today.”

### Historic Season

The Chiefs’ playoff berth marks their sixth consecutive postseason appearance, a franchise record. The team finished the regular season with a 14-3 record, matching their best win total since 2018.

### Path to the Super Bowl

With the No. 2 seed, the Chiefs will have a bye in the Wild Card Round and will host the Divisional Round game on January 21st. Their potential opponents include the Jacksonville Jaguars, Los Angeles Chargers, or Cincinnati Bengals.

“We’re excited to be in the playoffs,” Mahomes said. “We have a lot of work to do, but we’re confident that we can make a run at the Super Bowl.”
