### Mahomes Leads the Charge

Despite a slow start for the Chiefs’ offense, quarterback Patrick Mahomes rallied the team with his explosive playmaking. Mahomes completed 27 of 41 passes for 293 yards, one touchdown, and no interceptions. He also rushed for 29 yards and a touchdown.

“Patrick was phenomenal today,” Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said. “He’s the heart and soul of this team.”

The Chiefs’ defense played a pivotal role in the victory, limiting the Raiders’ offense to just 10 first downs and 228 total yards. Defensive tackle Chris Jones recorded two sacks and forced a fumble, while cornerback L’Jarius Sneed had a crucial interception late in the game.

The Chiefs’ playoff berth marks their sixth consecutive postseason appearance, a franchise record. The team finished the regular season with a 14-3 record, matching their best win total since 2018.

### Path to the Super Bowl

With the No. 2 seed, the Chiefs will have a bye in the Wild Card Round and will host the Divisional Round game on January 21st. Their potential opponents include the Jacksonville Jaguars, Los Angeles Chargers, or Cincinnati Bengals.
