Plum’s purchase of the Palms is part of a broader diversification strategy for the 28-year-old basketball player. She recently launched her own signature cigar line, “KP Cigars,” and has made several other investments in real estate and technology companies.

Concurrent with her purchase of the Palms, Plum debuted her line of premium cigars at a launch party at the resort’s Starlight Terrace rooftop lounge. The cigars, which come in three blends, are made with high-quality tobaccos and feature Plum’s signature logo.

“I’m a big cigar aficionado, and I wanted to create a cigar that was smooth, complex, and enjoyable for both novice and experienced smokers,” said Plum.

Plum’s acquisition of the Palms is expected to have a positive impact on Las Vegas. The resort has been undergoing renovations under her ownership, and she plans to introduce new amenities and entertainment options.
