Los Angeles – TikTok sensation and aspiring actor Noah Beck is opening up about his upcoming Tubi movie, “Sidelined: The QB And Me.” The film, set to premiere on March 24, follows the story of a high school football quarterback who is forced to confront his past when he returns to his hometown for his best friend’s wedding.

“I play this quarterback named Jake who’s a bit of a bad boy,” Beck explained in an exclusive interview with Variety. “He’s got this swagger about him, but he’s also got a good heart. I think people are going to connect with him.”

The Story’s Inspiration

Beck revealed that the movie is based on a real-life experience one of the producers had.

“He went to his best friend’s wedding and saw his high school sweetheart, who he had had a crush on but never asked out,” Beck said. “He started wondering what if, and that became the inspiration for the story.”

Beck’s Transition from TikTok to Acting

For Beck, “Sidelined” marks a major transition from TikTok to acting on a traditional platform. He acknowledged that it was a challenge, but one that he was eager to embrace.

“Coming from TikTok, I’m used to making short, snappy videos,” Beck said. “But with this movie, I had to learn how to take my time and build a character over the course of an hour and a half. It was definitely a different experience, but I think it’s one that I’m going to benefit from in the long run.”
